Q: What is the Amiga?

Amiga is a powerful but affordable home computer manufactured from 1985 to 1994 with advanced graphics and sound ideal for multimedia such as gaming. Even in 2025, the Amiga has a strong community of users and developers for native classic and modern hardware, software, demoscene and of course games! See Wikipedia for more info.

Q: Do I have to do the challenges if I take part in the event?

No. The challenge competition is optional. You can also stream music, demos, art... pretty much anything Amiga related.

Q: How do I join?

Q: Do I have to raid other AMIGApril/AMIGAugust streamers?

Not necessarily. While chaining raids between the participants to introduce viewers to other Amiga streamers, feel free to spread the love anywhere.

Q: I don't have original Amiga hardware. How do I emulate Amiga?

There are many options! Refer to the emulation page for more info.

Q: How many streams do I have to do to participate?

Even doing just one Amiga stream is fine. If you do variety streams featuring Amiga stuff, that's fine too!
